IMPRINT THE SHIFT

Executive coaching for leaders ready to stop performing and start living

A neuroscience-grounded coaching partnership for purpose-driven leaders who are ready to align their personal habits and vision with their business habits and vision.

Executive Coaching · 2026Dr. Tamsin Astor

The Executive Summary

What it is: A four-month executive coaching partnership grounded in neuroscience, habit science, and your lived experience. Designed to help you shift from reactivity to intentionality—at work, at home, and in any arena of your life where you desire mastery.

Who it's for: CEOs, founders, and senior leaders 40+ in healthcare, finance, tech, B-corps, nonprofits, and creative organizations who want depth over hacks. People-pleasing, over-availability, and blurred boundaries are frequently how it shows up first.

How we work: Three pillars — Daily Habits, Big Juicy Why and Mindset. And one daily practice: Pause → Notice → Choose. One-to-one sessions, written growth work between each session, and a journey review every ~3 sessions.

What you get: 1 × 75 min Deep Dive, then 11 × 50-minute sessions over 4 months. 1-3 Imprint the Shift actions, after every session. Unlimited WhatsApp access between sessions. Curated journaling and a 2-week time-tracking framework upfront.

Imprint the Shift

Four months. Twelve sessions. A new operating system.

Most clients work with me for about a year — this is the first chapter.

BOOK a chemistry call!

" People don't rise to their intentions, they fall to their habits." — Dr. Tamsin Astor

Why This Work Exists

I'm tired of watching extraordinary leaders out-give themselves into invisibility. The leaders I work with don't break loudly. They break quietly — in first sessions, when someone like me, finally asks the right question. They've been holding it together so well, for so long, that the holding has become a prison. The cost isn't just burnout: it's the years they don't get back with the people they love. It's the version of themselves they've buried under the title or role, while blocking it out with numbing behaviors, and habits like too much caffeine, doom-scrolling, snacking, no exercising.

The Three Pillars

Habits

The Microscope. The small, repeatable choices that either resource or deplete you — sleep, eating, exercise, recovery, attention, gratitude, KPIs.

Big Juicy Why

The Telescope. Your purpose and values, pleasure, freedom, money, and health, woven into a vision that pulls you forward.

Mindset

The Mirror. The internal stories — imposter syndrome, perfectionism, procrastination — and external patterns like boundaries and people-pleasing that shape what's possible.

Transformations

Most clients arrive with some idea of the transformation they want. In our work we usually discover others that have been buried and which come to light as we do the work. You don't have to know which one you're in.

Redefining Your Big Juicy Why

Particularly after a major shift: leaving corporate, founding a company, kids leaving home, divorce, health scare, or that quiet voice saying this isn't it anymore.

Big Juicy Why

Rebuilding Habits from Disarray

When your sleep, eating, exercise, and rest no longer support the life and business you say you want.

Habits

Redistributing Daily Work Habits

You've become so busy working in your business that you've stopped working on it — or you're spending too much time on tools and not enough finding the right clients.

Habits

Realigning with Your Values

Meeting that gnawing sense that what you're doing doesn't match who you are anymore. Creating new habits to match your new values.

Big Juicy Whyhabits

Reclaiming Your Boundaries

Moving from over-availability and chronic yes to structured, sustainable, intentional presence.

Mindset

Building Systems for Freedom

Because most of us actually thrive with the right kind of structure — which, although it sounds counterintuitive, creates epic success.

The Daily Practice

The pillars give you the architecture. This is what you actually do, hundreds of times a day, to live inside that architecture instead of just believing in it.

1

Pause

Three breaths between stimulus and response.

2

Notice

Observe what's actually happening — inside and out.

3

Choose

That's where leadership lives.

What This Work Actually Moves

Names and identifying details have been changed. The transformations have not.

The CEO Who'd Forgotten What She Loved

Twenty years as a beloved nonprofit CEO. Something was off. The kind of leader who shows up early, stays late, and remembers the receptionist's mother's surgery date. Beloved by her team. Devoted to the work. And quietly giving her family the dregs of her energy while over-giving to every organization she volunteered with.

We started simply with a sign on her office door:

"I am working, but available. Do you really need me?"

The interruptions thinned and her workday got more efficient.

She put a post-it on her computer Pause-Notice-Choose. This mantra has become a guiding force, the intention before the action.

Then we did a nervous system inventory. "What energizes you? What depletes you? When did you last feel like yourself at work?"

It turned out she loved teaching. She loved people who wanted to grow. She loved untangling hard problems. None of which she'd been doing in years.

"You [Dr. Tamsin] have such a variety of ways to see things, which has been really helpful. Seeing through different lenses is the one thing some coaches don't have: they've only lived a very singular life and can't give you perspectives outside their own. I really do appreciate that."

The Executive Who Didn't Know Their Kids Anymore

They came to our first call already crying. The kind of crying where the dam goes before the introductions do. They apologized — of course they did — and then said the sentence I'll never forget because of the raw pain in their voice:

"I don't know my kids anymore. And they're about to leave for college."

Senior executive, smart and very accomplished. But they were exhausted in the marrow of their bones. They'd built a career most people would envy and somewhere along the way had traded their actual life for the appearance of one.

They quit their job and moved their family to Africa for a year.

Their partner taught and their kids — initially resentful — enrolled in an international school and discovered the joy of adventure. They rested, remembered themselves and with that spaciousness came innovation and creativity.

"After working with you, Dr. Tamsin, I trust myself and I just like myself more!"

How We Actually Do This

The session rhythm is designed to reinforce neural pathways for what you want more of: naming wins is neuroscience, not cheerleading. Every session closes with 1–3 written commitments so nothing gets lost in the noise.

Foundation · Sessions 1–2

We name what you want to change in 4 months, based on your answers to the Big Juicy Why Journaling Questions, and underneath that, where you hope to be in 12 months. You come with the data you have tracked over two weeks. Why? Because how you spend your hours is your actual life — and we make the data visible. Where reality and intention diverge is where the work begins.

Every ~3 Sessions · The Journey Review

A written summary I send you of where you started, what you've moved, the wins you're collecting, and the through-line emerging in your work. Most clients tell me this is one of the most useful artifacts of the engagement — because change is invisible to the person making it, and naming it makes it real.

Bringing the Work to Your Team

Many of my 1:1 clients invite me into their wider ecosystem once they've felt the shift personally. The work scales naturally.

"A team's success is determined less by what it knows, and more by what it automatically does when the heat rises." - Dr Tamsin Astor

C-Suite Team Facilitation

Bringing the three pillars into your leadership team's communication, habits, and culture. Workshops, retreats, and ongoing facilitation rhythms.

Strategic Planning Facilitation

Using unique choreographies grounded in Appreciative Inquiry to surface what's working, what's possible, and what's next. Designed for teams of 10–30.

Executive Offsites & Bespoke Retreats

For leadership teams ready to do deeper relational and visioning work, often in nature-rich locations. Scoped and priced separately.

Is This a Fit?

An honest signal, both ways. This work is for a specific kind of leader — and it's not for everyone. Read both sides carefully.

This Is For You If…

  • You're an adult in the best sense — you take responsibility for what's yours
  • You're a leader 40+ — CEO, founder, senior operator — in finance, healthcare, tech, a B-corp, nonprofit, or creative organization
  • You value candor and are tired of corporate veneer
  • You want clear, consistent habits that make your life less reactive and more intentional
  • You're ready to be witnessed, challenged, and supported in equal measure
  • You believe vulnerability is a strength and humor is a tool

This Is Not For You If…

  • External circumstances tend to be the reason things aren't working — and that story feels fixed
  • You're looking for a shortcut, a productivity stack, or a biohack to optimize your way to a better life
  • Performance metrics feel more compelling than people metrics
  • You'd rather send your team to do the inner work while you watch from the sidelines
  • Emotional intelligence and vulnerability feel like soft skills you can afford to skip
  • You're hoping for validation of where you are, rather than honest inquiry into where you could go

The Philosophy That Guides Our Work

This work is rooted in a set of beliefs I carry into every session, every conversation, every moment I spend with you. You don't have to agree with all of them. But I want you to know them — because what I believe shapes how I show up for you.

You Deserve Freedom — and Freedom Is Relational

True freedom is never just personal: it exists inside a web of relationships, communities, and systems. When the people around you are supported, you are more free. This isn't a soft idea; it's a neuroscientific one.

Your Personal Responsibility Is Your Greatest Lever

No one can make you feel anything. In our coaching, you'll be invited to take full ownership of your emotional responses, your thought patterns, and the stories you tell yourself. This is not because your feelings aren't valid, but because you are not at the mercy of them.

The Quality of Your Thinking Depends on the Quality of Attention It Receives

When I am with you, I am with you: I give you my active, full attention. Coaching is pattern-recognition work, and patterns don't keep office hours. Between sessions, your situation stays in the background of my thinking. When a useful reframe or tool surfaces, I pass it on.

Structure Is What Sets You Free

The right structure doesn't constrain you — it liberates you. Habits, rhythms, agreements, and systems create the conditions for creativity, spontaneity, and ease. We build those together, for your life, your leadership, and your work.

You Are Not the Voice in Your Head

You are the one who hears it. That distinction — between the observer and the narrator — is where transformation lives. When you pause, notice, and choose, everything opens up. This is the work: learning not to believe everything you think.

Compassion Is the Operating System

Above every framework, every tool, every evidence-based intervention, I am driven by compassion. Empathy, joy, and deep care for your life and the lives of people around you is not soft. That's the whole point.
